Last season I fucked up my sidewall and I still got to fix it for this season. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

How did you do that? You have worn away the entire sidewall. Expoxy will seel it but not repair the fact the sidewall is gone completly.

Slammed my skis into each other, skis didnt really like it. Hope epoxy will be the fix for one more season! What will be the biggest problemen with the partial loss of the side wall?

We'll the issue is you now have no protection for the edge or the core at the side. You can already see te edge is pushing up as tree is nothing to surport it. It lickly though if you take a hit there you could easily damage the core as there is nothing to protectit. Luckily it seems to be under the binding so hopefully it wont flex too much but it will also be a week point in terms if simply snapping.

OK thanks bro! Good to know, hope they'll last one more season. Do i need to paint the epoxy afterwards because of the UV?

You could use a liquid plastic with abs properties. If you are already looking for a good epoxy that will hold up this route might be cheaper. There are plenty of "marine" epoxies that don't have very good flex characteristics- not that it matters too much for this situation but it wouldn't be great if it cracked and fell out. A low viscosity epoxy will absorb into the wood (if it is bare) and probably provide a better hold. If you don't give a shit just throw some caulking or rubber cement in there and call it a day (no idea how well it will hold in cold temps though).

If you get a non UV protective epoxy, it wouldn't hurt to paint over it, but to leave it doesn't seem like it would be a huge deal (your skis probably won't turn into a 15 year old deck in a couple of months).

Go to the hardware store and get a little scrap piece of abs plastic roughly the thickness of your sidewall. Cut the plastic to the shape of the hole in the wall as best you can... Cover every surface of the core and existing sidewall and the edges of the replacement piece in a layer of epoxy. Clamp the piece into the whole and let the epoxy cure. Once its solid carefully file it down flush with the existing sidewall and fill in any cracks with more epoxy if necessary.

It worked for me
