vail had a good closing weekend. Malay day started it out on Friday with a pipe jam, then a rail jam, and a later afternoon booter jam.
most of the people in attendance didnt move to the 65 foot jump at the end, but for those not too timid the jump was super sick, speed was the only issue.
I hit the jump all day, and the speed changed every time. First time it was good, the next few were slower, and then it got fast again. So fast that I overshot the jump (went about 85 feet) and went straight down to my left shoulder after trying to bring a rodeo 5 to 7 when i realized i went too far. After the hospital we hit up the bars in town, great time.
Snoop Dogg was sick, you had to be close to really hear the mics, but for a $15 show, it was worth it.

...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.
