OK, first i wanted 1080's and bought them on a really good deal, then i wanted the scratch bc, then the new 1080, line darkside, then mothership, then ak enemys, then l'il big fats, then darksides, then candides, now mike nicks 171 or scratch fs, or even mad trix. As u can c i have both a mental and financial problem with skis. I really need to know which ones to get, for good, i m 6'1 and 180 pounds. I need a ski with pop, pow, and pipe capabilities, as well as one that looks ill, also that is durable, that can handle most of what i throw at it. I m planin on makin a homemade movie with some friends of mine, so i need all that shit.

i would get the 1080 or possibly look at the concept/candide, not too many differences, darksides or the new k2's. the scrathes will brake if you ride them hard. rossi will replace them but your still with out skis for 6-8 weeks

everyone always suggests candides and concepts, and they're good skis, especially for the park. but they are only a 103 at the tip, and just not generally wide enough to ride powder. i know the kid wants an all around ski, but if he says he wants to ride powder, then why suggest one of the narrowest twins on the market?

 
Yeah i do agree, but i ski east coast, and it does get its fair share of dumps, but also, its thick heavy, so i need a powerful ski to go through it, not only a fat one. I did hear great things about the stomp, but i m cheap, and all those listed, i can get good deals on. I can get brand new candides, which i demoed and were perfect, except the waste, argh, for 199, plus look p12 for 99. Shippin on that is 30 even. So if anyone has stomps, or connections with stomps, so i can get my cheap hands on em.

I like my elan amps. Good skis in pipe and park. Pretty good in slope too. I got them when I broke my candides at the local skiresort, because there was a rock in the slope.

 
I love my dynastar concepts they kick ass at all mountain but ive never tried them in the park.

get the pe not that its the best but it is awesome ski and most important you mentioned financial its cheap even though they are making a scratch with wood core thats cheaper than the thc sratch
