Does anyone happen to have an online copy of the 2010 Market Intelligence Report from SIA? Or is anyone a member of SIA who would get me a copy? I would prefer not to pay $425, but it would be very helpful in the detailed market analysis of my business plan.

ahh, you might be hard pressed to get someone to fork that over for free. you might be able to talk to your local ski shop though. what are you trying to do? if its a school project, you might be able to get them to "sponsor" it by providing you access to it. they have alot of basic statistics on their site for free, under the research section in "suppliers and service providers". theres some other good info scattered around, some of it you need to log into, but theres no fees.
 
Yeah, I figured. It was worth a try... I'll just have to do without until I register in July for next year's. And no, it's for the market analysis of my actual business plan. I'm starting my own outerwear company. So the site statistics definitely aren't enough.

Are you in College or know someone in College? If so get the ISBN for the report and go to your College Library. Request an Inter-library loan form, fill it out, hand it in, wait a week or two, and voila! a copy of the report!
Most University libraries are part of this setup, at least they do in the UK. But I'm pretty sure US College's do too as I've had an obscure report sent from the US to my College for me too use. Basically, if a College somewhere has it, you can probably get hold of it.
You have to give it back after two weeks (normally) and your not supposed to copy/scan whole books/documents but who the fucks going to know or care?!
