The new update came out a few weeks ago and I'm personally not too impressed with it. For one, the game lags so bad that when you hit a key that it registers like 2 seconds later. The spinning is really fucked up too and the game just doesn't flow. The game actually loads like 10 percent of the time. I do like the different tricks like nose presses and the cool butters, but other than that I think the new shredsauce is shit. The thing that really bothers me is that I can't even play the old shredsauce. There's a link for it but when I click on it, it just freezes when its loading and it fucks up my computer. Overall, I miss the old shredsauce and I think the new one needs a lot of work before it's even halfway decent. Sorry for the long rant and if anyone knows how to play the old version, please comment.
 
Search bar? Right as it came out there was a thread about this, but I do wish I can still play the old one, Im having some issues as well

Yeah I read it but not many people posted on it and I wanted to know if people were having the same problems loading it and everthing

Aight, I can get it like every 4 tries. Also I don't spin correctly or something sometimes. Its weird. IM fine with the new one, just wish I could go back to the old one now and then

There's no need for these threads anymore, I'm sure Malcom isn't blind and he realizes that there are issues with the new release. What people don't seem to understand is that making a 3D computer game with physics, animations, and other features is fucking hard, especially if you're doing it by yourself.

People also don't realize that fixing bugs and errors can be really challenging. I'm a software engineering student and sometimes it takes me hours to fix one thing that is wrong with a program I've written. Stuff that may look really easy to fix can often actually be a pain in the ass.

Download Unity (it's free) and try make your own game with your own custom scripts, animations, menus, etc and hopefully it'll give you some perspective on how challenging and time consuming making games is.

I don't play games, but I was going to say that too. It may be the computer is not performing well etc.
 
these types of threads never do well here coz newschoolers is supportive and we're a tight community and all that. this response is very typical but i think you are right OP. to be honest the old shredsauce was better. i don't even play it for more than 5 minutes anymore. i used to love shredsauce.

Awesome. The death of the young skier Sam has put a somber note up here on NS. Been hard for me to enjoy anything. Hope your injury is healing well. Be good!

That's just you're opinion though guys...I personally prefer the new shredsauce, like way more.

The rotation is different, but it only takes a while to get used to it, I can do all the corks/misty/rodeo/flat that I used to be able to do on the old one. The only things really bothering me is the look of the shifty, it's really shit...other than that the terrain editor is fucking insane, the physics of the rider makes it looks way more realistic, and the butters are hella fun. I agree, it can get really buggy but it's normal, the update just got out guys...
