Shreditor 112 one ski playful quiver?

I'm 5'9 125 lbs (skinny af I know) and looking for a ski to use to get into touring and use in the resort. I'll be mounting with tyrolia adrenalins. I can't seem to find much info on the 112's though. All the complaints I can find about them is that people tend to overpower them but I can't see that as a problem for me. Should I worry about them being too soft or at my size should I go for them?

What size are you looking into getting? They're a very soft ski and will get floppy if you plan on going fast.

I was looking at getting the 179's but I've seen some people say they're closer to 181 and some people say their true to size.

The new ones measure true to size, the older ones are 4-5mm longer than what they say. My 2014 189s are more like 193cm

2 cm isn't going to change how they feel under your foot, I promise you won't notice any difference.

Yeah I have 13/14 shreditor 102s in 189, I'm 6' and read that most skis run a little shorter than their measured length so 189 seemed perfect. Got them and they are actually 191 and heavy as fuck lol. I can ski them directionally just fine but whipping them around is very hard because the length makes the swing weight stupid high.

I have a pair of 179's and have used them a fair amount now, and in some pretty varied conditions. Mine are mounted 4.5cm back from center and ski well all over, even in the park. I'm 5'10" and like 155lbs and always feel pretty comfortable on them going fast, though I think the 189's would feel better. They're fun skis in my opinion, but I would say check out the 102mm waist version, I think they would be an even better all around ski.

I'm 5'6" 100lbs and I love mine, some times I overpower them if it is really cruddy but they are a great all mountain quiver and fun pow ski in my opinion.

The 179 would be great for you! About overpowering, I am 5'7 135, aggressive skier and never had any issues like that. They are not an overly stiff ski, and there is always a tradeoff for having a surfy and playful ski, it is inherently going to ride a little differently than a stiff 2x4. Hope that helps.
