Shredding around nyc

that's what i'm gonna be doin this winter. since bills suck and i won't be able to afford a car, i'll be hucking it around the subway. anybody have any tips or secret spots they wanna share? i'm pretty stoked, im gonna build a wallride and gap an upside-down hat
 
dudeeee weve been tryin to get NYC urban together for 2 years now. all that happened so far is me hittin a rail at fordham

why will u be in nyc?
 
i work in midtown, but ill ideally be moving to astoria in september. i was thinkin maybe takin njtransit, metronorth or lirr to less populated areas to build jumps, or maybe avoiding the cops and buildin jumps in some of the parks, but there's obviously no shortage of urban within the subway lines.. but i dont just wanna fuck my skis up, im on the lookout for some elevation
 
weve scoped a bunch of good rails in the city, cops are gonna be all-up-ons but whatever.

we've got an NYC to mount snow cult, if you were thinkin about taking some trips this winter you should come with us to mount snow
 
I work in Midtown and live in queens now. unless you have a car, going anywhere that is less populated and accessable by any of those train line will be hard to get around.

the problem with accessing the subway lines is, well there really is no access. there all underground. you need to know where you are going down there. there are a few elevated lines in the Bronx and Queens but thats about it. plus as Blong said the NYPD will be up your ass. you can maybe get some time in manhattan on a weekend in a park but the outer boroughs will probably be your best bet. astoria park is huge and has a few places you can probably get some shots. a banshee bungee would def help!
 
id go to the lifts, but i straight up cant afford them. it was dope when i got the college pass for $300, but now its $300 for a few days.. im gonna scope the shit outa this place and post as i find places.. i got the metal sole plates on my SPKs, looks like ill be using those up
