Showing an edit to a non skier

Search barred and only found simular threads..

So if you were to show an edit to a non skier or a skier that doesn't like park what would it be
 
A few years ago i showed my dad Tom wallisch's new era edit with "When we ride on our enemies" and he yelled at me because it had "hood music" in it and it's "goddamn skiing" according to him...

so my advice is nothing to thug
 
if they think skiing is "gay" or that if you ski you are "gay" i would show them "Last Friday."Otherwise JP Auc.'s seggy in Trail, B.C. from All.I.Can
 
There is no way for them to understand how difficult it is unless they try it themselves. They will think its easy because the pros make it look easy.

But it makes me mad when people aren't impressed with crazy tricks like a 4 onto a sketchy rail.. They have no appreciation for the amount of balls that goes into that
 
showed roommate dale talkingtons best edits. He was mad stoked always asked me if I saw dale on the hill lol.

I'd definitely just make them watch Everyday is a Saturday, that movie is one of the main reasons I switched backed to skiing after giving a shot at snowboarding.
 
step 1- i ask them about if they know about an urban spot near their house (eg. so and so rec center in st. paul)

step 2- show them a clip of someone hitting it

step 3- they go "daaaaaang, is that you?"

step 4- i say "yes, of course it is me."

4 day season is my fav edit of all time.

Non skier friends don't get it though

"Aw sweet backflip"
 
Nimbus, JP street segment, or Travelling circus. Anything that is different than your typical banger after banger edit seems to do well with non skiers....
 
Anything with some human interest...my roomate doesn't ski but loves watching ski films/edits with me. I would say Matchstick or TGR are safe bets. I would guess any edit with interviews and great music is a good choice.
 
Will Wessons segment in sunny. I've done it before and people are actually speechless after. All those rails...
 
Now he makes commercials for dicks sporting goods. But he'll make a return, i just know it. You can take the kid out of the thug, but you can't take the thug out of tammy wetnaps.
 
Something thug.

If I show them real skifi, they say skiing is for skinny pant wearing douches.

Id rather have random people think im a wannabe thug than a bitch when I ski
