Adstone, I think the simpler version of yours was quite something, then you added a ton of stuff to it and feel like it got over complicated. Def sick though, look forward to seeing more from you. Just remember it's not all about cramming as much as you can into one scene, but instead having a simple scene that looks good and can still have the crap jibbed outta it.
Drew, nice that you made that up in sketch up, however the last flat part of the center rail kind of defeats the whole purpose/functionality of the walkway, unless you where to build the ramps differently in some way.
These are just suggestions, but they are worth mentioning. Creating a scene isn't just about creating the jibs, but also creating something that is realistic and aesthetically appealing.
At least that's my two cents on it.
Look forward to seeing more from you 2 for sure, as well as everyone else.

i like the added rail, i was just thinking more of a like chimney pipe that might have been broken in a was to be bent slightly upwards so as to kindof cannon off the roof, but i like the flat bar also and i dont think that there should be a pre built landing, jib life if you could make the option to insert urban jumps or landings.

For D.R.E.W. and anyone else wondering how to make steps in sketchup:
1. make a rectangle.
2. copy it many times using the Move tool and by pressing ctrl, then link 'em together like so:
3. draw a line up^.
4. draw a triangle.
5. Using the push/pull tool, pull up each rectangle from the rear to the front. The triangle will stop it from going further than necessary.
6. Erase and draw all unnecessary and necessary lines and you're done!
