Some are pretty old, but still ski well. It's a blessing and a curse! Not to mention my wife's skis I must maintain too!

One needs more than one pair of rock skis!!! ;-)

I guess I could, just a lot of work to line them all up! You can see a few of them here. I have more now. It's a fun 12 minute video anyway. :-)


Now I see you don't see too many. Some are in the hot box. It hold like 8 pair + . Sometimes I just store them in there, and probably three or four pair in my ski box on the Subaru too.

I have 6 and I live on the east coast. One rock/street ski, one slush/80s day ski, one daily, one daily I can ski in the par, one resort pow and one touring/backcountry pow

Beaut of a quiver! Where did you mount the visions? Going with them for my next touring ski, recommended just a bit seems far back for spinning/landing switch occasionally

I think the Rec spot is perfect. Even if I had them for an inbounds ski I’d probably still go with it. It’s further back than say a bacon, but this ski is more directional. Not that you can’t go more forward on it but you will start fighting the sidecut at a certain point. Maybe start with only 1-2cm forward if you’re so inclined, but even the rec skiing switch has been great!

Shredittor 112 was one of the most well rounded skis I've ever skied. And the sidecut was perfect with the long contact point on the shovel.

I thought the assymetrical marksman's were unpredictable.
 
Seriously all it takes is a trip to the 2nd or 3rd page of Google results, i just got a pair of new faction prodigy 1.0 and 4.0 2020 that I got for a total of 600

-Moment meridian tour 107 with cast binding system. Just mounted these to be my lighter touring ski for most teton pass and gtnp days. Cast toepieces are interchangable with the three leftmost skis pictured

-line SFB 108 with cast. Love these for spring skiing. Got them a few years ago for a mt hood spring season. I ride them midwinter too when it hasnt snowed in a week. All mountain cruisers, park laps, beer laps and for backyard park fun.

-moment bibby pro 118 with cast. Favorite all time daily driver ski for the last decade and I finally have a touring setup on em. These are 186 length... broke my 192s last year. All skis are rock skis, right?

-Igneous 122 Asym customs with the og cast system. I admit these cost more than the rest of the quiver combined. But at their 7 years and ~200 days of use these bombproof skis have held up in excellent shape. They are still my go-to for most midwinter pow days and big ob missions, so I’m more than satisfied with this quality setup. It’s also worth it to me to support local ski shops and ski builders. Anyway, awesome unique skis.

-Armada La Gorda ARG 133s with sth16 bindings. Got these fat ladies for the upsidedown high avy days when I’m staying inbounds and want bounce on top of heavy wet snow.

Essentially a four ski quiver as I’ll likely only bust out the gordas a few times. I slimmed down the quiver by breaking bibby 192s and retiring old skilogic howitzer touring skis last year. And had atomic automatics stolen at the end of the season. Hoping for better luck this year as this one of my best starting lineups.

Cast system is so smart for a big quiver. Need to do this in the future. Where do you find just the heel pieces?

Yeah the 18 toes were hard to find but din 14 heelpieces work fine for cast. Bought sets on here and at yard sales and our local consignment store. Helps living in a ski town

Yep I gave the orange pair away and still have a pair of blue/white 14s in a box somewhere. I should mount them to my camper cabinets as door handles

Left to right:

Touring: Some fischers with frame at bindings I want to sell for a freeride AT setup. Seem fun but not for me

Powder: 4frnt CRJ 180cm never get to use them as we never get more than a couple inches of snow. Had tonnes of fun on these in the states

Park/allMtn/Daily: On3p Filthy Riches 186cm absolute all mountain slayers and my current daily/park ski. Handles rough firm snow like a boss and shreds soft slush well too. I ride these all day in the park and boost the rest of the mountain to and fro the park

Park only: J Skis lightning 184cm super fun ski only ridden a couple times so far. Doesn't handle rough or soft snow well
 
Vishnu wets, line blends with marker jesters I bought from will wesson, 2015 on3p kartels with pivot 15’s, and k2 hellbent with pivot 18’s I just picked up
