would you be so kind as to sell me some?
80% is usually for sale to buddies at any given time, and about 5-10% for sale online. If I have friends over and the point at a pair they want, they will get it.

this is a valid point, and a thing, but you get used to it, I used to have the car FULL of skis on any given day, but now Im quite happy with 2-3 pairs, when going to mountain, and provided we have the space I will often bring like 6-8 pairs, but only if buddies wants, this lets me test more of my skis, and also they get to ride whatever they want. Like this weekend, I brought 4 pairs, for 3 buddies, buddy nr 3 brought 2 pairs, so we had 6 pairs of ski, for 4 dudes, we did switchup the skis after lunch and about 30k vert before continuing.
Beeing able to 100% nail snow conditions is just damn fun. Ohh mountain is frozen over and 100% ice? yeah no worries, grab a skinny, surprise pow left in the forest? grab something floaty.
The real struggle with a large collection of skis, and new skis you actually ski is waxing and upkeep of edges and such, I do outsource a lot of it like stonegrinds etc, but I do spent quite some time on it. Also its a chore, not enjoyment at this stage for the maintenance part. but I can wax a pair of skis, and mount bindings fast.
