Shoulder look

When I ride switch I naturally look over my left shoulder, and spin left naturally so it's kind of convenient. A lot of people are the opposite though and naturally look over the opposite shoulder of the way they spin to. This is so dope because then spinning switch is easier for them to spin unnatural than their natural spinning way (even though it's their natural way switch). i'm extremely jealous of these people cause it's super hard for me to look over my right shoulder and then spin right on top of that, and they don't have any trouble mixing up left and right spins in a run.

what shoulder do you guys look over/which way do you spin to? is it better to look over the different shoulder as the way you spin to or does that suck and just make it really hard to learn switch? of course being able to look over both easily would be the best, so can any of you do that?

i've always wondered this so sorry if it's a stupid thread or repost, searched and didn't find anything but shoulder injuries

Look over left, usually spin left. I dont throw too many switch rightside tricks, so I have no issues

look over my right shoulder and spin left... its kinda annoying because it makes spinning natural hard and even tho i'm already looking over my right shoulder i'm still not so good at spinning unnatural... i'm working on getting just as comfortable looking over both shoulders though

I spin left naturally but look over my right shoulder and spin right when switch. just kinda happened that way. I still cant really do right spins forwards past a 3

I have that advantage. I learned all 4 7's because of it (I know it's not anything impressive but I'm happy I can do it)...

ya i was just discussing this with my friends dad who is a total shredder haha. i thought of myself as the most typical sinerio, because im right handed so i look over my right shoulder, but spin left. it seems like most people would be the same way and have that trouble ut i haven't really heard anyone mention it before thing. one thing it helps is that because you cant see the lip coming it will guarantee that you dont spin too hard off the lip. but ya i would love suggestions about how to cope with this.

I have this gene. I hated it at first, but it has definitely made it easy for me to get comfortable spinning both ways.

This year I tried to switch shoulders as much as possible, and honestly,.I feel comfortable looking over both.. Doesn't make sw un natty any easier for me though.
