Should the ski shop buy me new skis for this boofed mount?

Got out the new skis from the shop today, honestly don’t know how I didn’t notice this before taking them out. Skis felt weird halfway down the first run so I look down and immediately noticed. I hate to be “that customer” but I feel like the shop that mounted them owes me new skis.

Yes they need to buy you new skis and remount the new pair for free. Don't take anything less for an answer.
 
thats insane, it looks like they only put half of the jig feet on. They owe you a new set of skis no question. Drilling a ski twice voids warranty so definitely push for a new pair of sticks
 
If we can see that the mount is fcked in a picture then they definitely owe you new skis and a free mount. As others said don't take anything less for an answer.
 
In all my years of clicking on these types of threads, this may be the worst mount yet.

Who tf gave these back to you and said yeah here's your skis that'll be $50 or whatever. they owe you new skis and I would hope they have to buy em

"Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following: Skis mounted more than once. Only one set of drilled screw holes is allowable. More than one recognizable mount and/or filling holes and re-mounting the ski voids this Warranty".

If I remember correctly a shop mounted one ON3P ski correctly and the other one backwards, mistakenly trying to line up graphics last year. But yea either this one or that, ridiculous they'd let something like that go out the door. I get mistakes happen, but unless they really actually somehow didn't notice, handing this to a customer with a straight face is just terrible

I was actually going to recount that, I just couldn't remember if I was making it up or it actually happened. Both are incredibly shitty for the ski owner.

If they don’t buy you new skis and a refund for whatever else paid for that, name and shame them. I find it hard to believe the guy who mounted these was the only employee who saw them.

So the shop has been super chill about it. They refunded the mount, new skis are on the way and they’re offering free tunes rest of the season. And they assured me the guy that mounted these is not going to do the new skis. I’m just really stoked these skis were still in stock!
 
I'm not creative enough to think of more ways a mount can be messed up but every time one these threads is made I find a new way.
