Big White is reporting a base of 18cm and their opening is 10 days away.....Oh boy...Heres to hoping!! What do you guys think about this........?
 
well if the weather network turned out to be right for once, there should be about 4 days of possible rain in the next 10 days, and those are gonna have to be very very wet days with upwards of 40mm of rain for enough snow to fall...sooo bad news bears? i hope not...

the likelyhood of a scheduled openin prollly aint gonna happen but im really hoping on it cause damn do i wanna ski...cross your fingers AND toes for this one!

if they dont open anyone gonna hit up revelstoke on opening weekend though? im thinkin it could be realll nice.
 
well with a few clear nights as it looks like it will be the temps will drop and hopefully provide an opportunity for some snow making but theres 10 days left who knows maybe we'll get lucky
 
It was melting today up in the village. I still went out and skied a little but just because we are all SO bored at our place. We watched 6 episodes of Little People Big World yesterday...in a row.

Anyone coming to Raakel's tomorrow for 35 cent wings?

The wings will distract us from the lack of snow... all in good time I guess.
 
they should just push all the snow down onto the bunny hill for the time being. can you imaging how crazy that would be? just madness, gapers getting slashed all over the place...haha
 
Even on a weekend, that bunny hill is nuts....I couldn't imagine it as being the only run available for opening day...could you imagine the carnage....and the lift lineup at the Plaza.....hahaha...

Revy could be good. I can't go on the Thursday...but I am good to go for the weekend....

That's why every year they schedule opening for this weekend (when all the Americans come up $$$) and try their hardest to open on time. The last thing they want to do is not open, because that is such a huge loss of potential revenue.
