Should I Pull the Trigger?

Hey NS, so today I was at my shop and saw last years Candide 3.0 demo skis for $300 for just the skis. I have recently been looking for a all mountain ski that can easily handle park/pow. I pretty much had my hart set on Kartel 98's, that I could pick up from my local shop in the summer for $400. However, after seeing these I put them on hold and wanted to see what you guys thought. Should I pull the trigger on 3.0's, or get Kartel 98's for 100 bucks more over the summer?

Are the Kartels new or demo's? If they are new, go Kartels you will get more life out of them. They are both very different skis, The kartels are a more well rounded waist size but the Candides will be quite a bit better in Soft Snow and Chunder.

They are new but they would just be last years models.

There is no changes between them this year and next year if I'm not mistaken, besides the top sheet of course.

They're very different skis. If it was the 98 vs 2.0 that would make more sense. The 3.0 is closer to powder than park/all-mountain like the Kartels. I'd go Kartels personally. What shop are you at as well? $400 for ON3Ps over the summer sounds good.
