Should i drop the cash on volkl bridge

have at least 150 days on my volkl wall 177s and its time to re-up.

first off, they are way to small (im 6'4 180) and would move to the 185s

in a heartbeat if i was going that route. anyway, i am going to hit

park around 25 days at mammoth then hood from mid may - early july, and

then in mid july am heading to Chile for a month straight of park AND

pow.

i can only buy 1 ski, and am thinking of switching to the 187 bridge so i

can hit that pow down there but also hit park out west beforehand.

i am real worried im gonna get pissed in the park that its not a good

jib ski, has anyone made a similar switch from a true park to a ski like

this?

Gear talk but I'll answer you in short.

I ride armada Ar5's and Volkl bridges, and tbh they just don't compare. I don't find them all that fun in the park personally, really stiff, flat base so it feels like you have no pop. Don't get me wrong, they are amazing almost anywhere else, shread off piste and on with the Bridges. But I've basically stopped using them in the park all together. But then again I am fairly light and I'm not the strongest park skier so I might not have the best opinion on them.

I'd say a better park/all mountain ski would be something like the Armada Arv or the Line blend, but that's just me.

Check out the Double time from Surface Skis...

I don't know if they'll be long enough for you but they can handle pow and park!

might be a little late on this but the 2010 bridges can get it done in the park although after skiing a true park ski it may be a bit of an adjustment.
