Should i buy boots if my feet are still growing

I ski a ton and i still rent boots i was wondering if it is worth the money to buy some cheap park boots and grow out of tem in a year

I also have a bunch of money that i dont know what to do with

It is definetely a good idea to buy your own boots. Just buy them a tad big, but not TOO big, you don't want to have slop b/c that can cause shin bang and unresponsiveness. Also if you buy a boot that is slightly too big now, you can put a foot bed in and than will take up some space. (Not really a good boot fitting technique, but it worked for me.)

^ not really great advice.

Your best bet, is wait right untill you will start skiing this coming season and then get your boots. That way hopefully your feet will not grow out of teh boot straight away. You cant really buy big boots to grow into unfortunatly it does not work that way. 90% of people boot problems are caused by big boots. Having a boot a bit small is usally easier to fix.

Also getting a footbed will usally make your foot smaller. You could leave the insole in and have a footbed, this could take up some volume, but I would recomend waiting untill youstart skiing, then when your in a resort go to a decent fitter, and see what they have for you and your foot at that time. You can always get the toe box of a boot streched to get more toe room, but its harder to make a boot smaller then it is to make it bigger, so get what fits you at the time, and then have it streched as you grow. There will of course be a point you cant make it any bigger, but hopefully that would not be within one season anyway.

my feet are still growing i just got fitted then ordered some a half size large so i can get 2 season out of them

Don't do this. Toebang blows.
On another note. You dont NEED freestyle boots.. I have a pair of downhill boots that work perfectly fine in the park. What you could do is just buy a pair of MUCH CHEAPER downhill boots and use those until you stop growing.

There is no such thing as a real half-size in ski boots- the same shell & cuff are used between a 27.0 and 27.5, even the liner is the same (99.99% of the time).

So this means that between a 26.5 and a 27.0 it's a full size different, not a half-size.

Don't buy your boots too big- just wait and buy the right size. Your wallet and your feet will be much happier.
