Buy a helmet, unless you know that you will never crash once this year.

my helmet has saved my life on numerous occasions. since it's your first year on twins, and your tryign new stuff, YES! you will crash and burn and get hurt. helmets won't save your life, but they increase protection to your head so much more than if you didn't have a helmet.
