Leaving tomorrow and staying in tahoe for the next 6 weeks. Has anybody seen any extended weather forecasts for the next month or so?

yes, 15cm of pow on tues to bluebird wednesday sounds pretty fucking awesome to me. and you will get few dumps if you are there for that long

if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't bother. you wouldn't like skiing pow anyways.

While I do agree it was a douche comment, I think he was refering to the fact that this kid is going to be in Tahoe for 6 weeks, and is questioning whether or not to bring pow skis. 6 weeks. Yes, bring the damn pow skis.

In the last 5 years weather forecasting has Doubled from 3 days to 6 days.. 6 days is all they know , to many variables after that. Therefore, if you dont bring your pow skis to tahoe your an idiot. All it takes is one massive storm system to drop Literally 10ft.

SPECIFIC location weather forecasting, Long term stuff is still accurate , but the farther out the more the variables come in.

Don't bring them. Set your expectations @ low. Then when it dumps snow you'll be pleasantly surprised and will have a chance to rent some pow skis that are better than your own.

Yer i was just thinking someone might of known something about any change in the weather pattern for the rest of the season, but yer i guess there is no telling what will happen. Last season it was well worth taking them over cause it was such a good season, just not sure if it's worth it this year. Might just take them over and hope for the best.
