Cortina today... before the entire mountain was closed due to a power failure.. was anyone else there?

were you up on the mountain when they lost power?
 
we were in the lift line...lucky werent on the lift. had only done 2 runs. ended up just skinning up and going touring. i read the resorts comments last night...apparently the power only went out for about 45 mins. good day none the less.
 
Oh man that looks fun, definitely a little jealous here. Keep shredding and enjoy it for all of us who can't be in Japan right now!

nozawa just had a 90cm dump...unfortunately just after i left the country, but that place goes off when it has fresh snow. lucky bastards!
 
awesome! cortina is the fucking shit.

for those who dont know, not only does cortina have epic skiing like this most of the time your $30 lift ticket includes a gourmet lunch and ticket to the hot springs for apres! hands down the best value for money of any ski hill ive ever been to
 
yeah I've actually been following the reports. I have a video of last year one a 110cm day ends with me almost drowning in snow.
 
Holy shit, Japan really IS epic. At :25 seconds, you get a face shot, and a Contour magically gets stuck to your helmet.
