Short Story?

I remember about a year ago someone posted a short story about the death of a skier and how he and his friends hiked a mountain to leave some of that skier's belongings at the top of a mountain so that he could forever be one with the mountains...

I am looking for this story and I havent been able to find it with search bar or through the use of google.
