i just got my bindings mounted... look px 12 jibs...

got them back and was stoked everything looked good... -1cm from tru center just like i had asked... everything looks good... i leave satisfied and pumped for opening day tomarrow...

get home and im just checking out my setup u know... and i notice that the shock absorber thing under one of the toe pieces is upside down... where the screw are it seems to be flush... but there is some space between the ski near the ends cause of how its just designed... its deffinately fucking upside down under the toe piece and the other is fine... just one not both...

I AM NOW PISSED AS FUCK....

is this going to fuck me up? is my binding going to rip out or something? if i take it back and have them flip it they are gonna have to take the whole toe piece off and put it back on... will this mess up the holes??? will this effect the ski? will they have to redrill and fuck my stance all up?

these are my brand new skis and bindings and im quite fucking pissed somebody tell me what i should do....

It may be fine, but I would take em back, tell them what's up, and ask them to helicoil all the holes that are affected. The helicoils aren't entirely necessary, I'm sure the holes could still be appropriately threaded, but are just a precaution.

pix please? i'd wait to take them out though... if its just that rubber piece I doubt it matters, it just rubber with a different print on one side. The helicoli is a good idea...but still not as strong as the original wood. I'd keep it in until it rips out, if it even does

if its just the rubber pad, it should be fine to unscrew, flip the pad, then rescrew, no problem. if the actual plastic base is upside down...then they are retarded. although i dont think thats what you are talking about

If you do it yourself (which i wouldnt suggest, because unless you got them mounted at sports authority or some shit like that, your shop will help you out.) anyway, if you do it yourself, use woodglue in the holes.

it prolly wont affect anything and if it bugs u then take it back to ur shop or remount it ur self

i skied all last season on the same thing, i was real mad when i found out but it made no noticably difference. just take it back at your leisure and have them change it.
