Shoes for the mountain

What do you guys rock when you're going/leaving the mountain? If it just snowed, I usually wear my Sorel boots but they get heavy and sometimes are annoying to have to worry about when I leave my stuff to go skiing. This leads me to wear old sneakers to the mountain sometimes. I also will occasionally just wear my ski boots if I'm looking to spend as much time as possible there.

These are my winter boots:

Anyway so what do you guys do?

The same pair of smelly Globes I've been wearing for the past 4 years. Or if I'm ditching work then I wear my beat up steel-toe Carolinas.

DVS makes some sick winter mids.highs. All insulated, water proof, bomber tread. They are worth a google.

Yeah those are nice I wouldn't have expected DVS to make snow shoes but I've never really ventured to their website so I guess that's why.

Yea me too, a bunch of the skate shoe companies make winter boots. DC, Osiris, DVS, Nike and probably a ton more.

Nike just released a new dope winter line of winterized boots/shoes/athletic runners.

Insulated rubber boots!

They're like giant slippers for the snow. Seen Hoji repping them in his Seven Sunny Days (I think?) segment when he was boot packing out from a lodge.. I don't know why, but somehow that stuck with me for a few years, then I eventually I bought a pair and love them. So warm, so flexible, and best of all my feet never get wet. Nothing worse than soggy feet in ski boots.

Some L.L. Bean Hiking boots I've had for snow and such. nike sneakers in the early/ water parts of the season. ski pares boots are often too... queer... for my tastes
