Shock Absorbers on PX 12 Jibs

I have a pair or look PX 12 Jibs, and they come with shock absorbers. Do they help or are they worthless? They seem just like some cheap risers.

They do a little, just like the shock absorbers in the SPKs do a little, does it mean you won't feel going 30 ft to flat, fuck no.

I know that it wont make you feel nothing after 30 ft to flat, but does that little affect make them worth putting on with your bindings?

I think they make bindings more likely to rip out. I don't know why maybe its because the bindings have more play sitting on a flexible rubber platform. I have seen ALOT rip out. Just make sure you get shorter screws if you dont use them

I am pretty sure the main purpose of them is for looks, They will do a little, but not much. I doubt they make the binding more likely to pull out.

But if you don't want to use them you will need shorter screws.

I don't see how they could do anything considering there's screws running through them. If you could come up with a set of elastic screws, you'd be set.

Hmm I never heard they made it easier to rip out but considering I ripped out two pairs of px-12's a total of 7 times maybe theres something to this. I think I'll mount them next year without the risers
