Shitty Park Anyone???

Does anyone else in this ski world have to live with the shittiest park in the world at theyre home mountain/hill? The bigger question, does anyone have any inexpensive, easy solutions to present to the management? I come from a broke ass racer-based privately owned hill, and we are in desperate need of a solution, and the management here isn't an easy one to persuade. Help us out if you have anything to say, or if you're in the same boatt as i am.

as far as a shitty park i'm pretty much in the same boat as you, my mountain has to have the smallest park ever and the mountain is pretty much based around racing also

i feel you man my mountian has a pretty crappy park too whats wrong with ur park not enough stuff or is it just not maintained

My park used to be nice but its been on the steady decline for 3 years. The rails are nice when they haven't been run over by a snow cat. There are maybe 13 decent rails and boxes but only 4 at a time were set up at a time and in sketchy ways. They leave something sitting in one spot until the end of the season. It sinks and comes up like a boat in the snow. They didn't even make a table top this year, and they blew a ton of snow on the top section to not even use it. very very gay and this is in west virginia so that is like lower east coast. I still managed to progess on stuff there so its not all bad though.

i try to make mine better, but theyve stopped letting us borrow the rakes/shovels. and they put no lips onto the rails, its all flat and sketchy even when its going onto an up rail or sommin. and we arent allowed gap ons for whatever reason, and the one jump we do have has to be made so that people can ride over the lip without hurting themselves. so there is no lip, and the gaps about 10 ft, and the landings flat. we have a couple decent rails and shit, and we coulda gotten funding from salomon but no one followed up on it. we cant make snow because were broke, and the one new rail they did get, they broke within a month because they cant drive a groomer.

my park isent bad, it could be better but theres alot of stuff i would like to tell them to change

for example. they give away rail to other hills?%&*? and they dont maintain there park, but it has alot of potential

we don't have a park. like it's against the rules to build stuff. but we do have natural terrain...I'd feel bad to live on the east coast on a mountain with no features.

The other day i was at the top of the park and our park crew was talking about how shitty the jumps were. one guy proceeded to say " these jumps suck, they should be 50ft from lip to knuckle... o well i don't hit them anyway." then they just left. Too bad every time i see this guy riding park its in the little one where the jumps are 10 ft long. It amazes me how he was complaining about the shit that HE BUILT HIMSELF instead of fixing it.
