Yah, so another cam thread that...tiring i bet.

Anyways after figuring out how to get my computer to work and transfer video from my new Canon Vixia HF200 to my comp I now have a new problem and it's almost turning me away from even trying anymore. My computer seems to be too slow to edit the HD quality video I have recorded. For anyone who films what is the best way to speed up your computer to edit higher quality video and how much does it usually cost (and no im not switching to mac)?

I may just say fuck it all and bring back my video cam and exchange it for a digital slr and just shoot some photog.

Helpppp me make my comp faster

Im not 100% here, but my guess is you gotta buy more ram. Im going to run into this problem im sure when i get an HD camera.

yah I was thinkin more RAM too but really i don't know much about computers and was thinkin maybe there was other ways that people would know about that already film hd. fuck my compppp

I would suggest upgrading your computer processor but as you mentioned above, you're not too computer savvy. Just get more RAM.
