the Canadian Shield (pink) is Rocky Mountain-like terrain in the Midwest on a smaller scale, and some of the glacial mountains (mountains formed by glaciers) have really unique and cool shapes as opposed to mountains out west.

I just got back from working a week in Midland/Odessa, Texas. That is the worst place ever. I hate west texas the most and the rest of the state 2nd

Connecticut is kinda fucked. Richest state with the poorest most violent small cities in the country.

At least delaware has beaches, I'd take DE over any corn filled midwest state. Jersey and Florida also aren't that bad. Still better than any landlocked flat state if you ask me.
