New Jersey: It's against the law to pump your own gas, intersections where you can't turn left

Florida: One giant swamp, no mountains, plus every other news report starts with "A florida man..."

For sure. And even when you tell people upstate they think of an hour north of the city. It's like bro, there's a whole fucking state out there.

I cant speak for Nevada and Cali, But I live here in Idaho and it's awesome! Well I guess there might be some shitty spots but for the most part it is great. We have awesome hot summers with rivers and lakes and fun mountains. It gets pretty cold here in the winter with decent snow, some winters have been AWESOME, some have sucked, but you get to experience all 4 seasons here. I know lots of people who come out here and think they will never live here come to change their mind and now they wont leave, Myself included.

not to mention the cost of living is extremely cheap. And we love out guns!!!

see thats a different cool side of nevada, the massive ranges and deep valleys go on forever. Plus some of the best utah-style canyon lands ive adventured.

That's bullshit. If you live in any Ohio city its a bunch of ghetto ass wannabe thugs, if you live outside of the cities its a bunch of wannabe redneck marryin their cousins pieces of shit. If you live in between theres some decently nice suburbs but no-one goes outside and the only thing to do is drink. No awesome wilderness, sucky skiing, flat as hell, there's nothing to do in Ohio. Every time I come home I am bored as hell the entire time I am home and I feel claustrophobic not being able to get out into the mountains. Shit I was in Cleveland all summer and about the extent of the excitement I got for the summer was 2 attempted robberies on me. It's just a shithole

theres plenty of stuff do in where i live idk where your living but there is usually something do every weekend

New York.

50th in overall freedoms. Ridiculous taxes, ridiculous laws, a douchebag governor and state government that doesn't listen to anything people actually want. We have more people moving away from here than move in. It must be even worse for the people upstate who get zero representation because NYC is more important to the state.

Idk why so many people hate florida. You got miami which is pretty dope, the keys, and youre only a short boat ride from the bahamas. Also from what i hear its easy to score pks, strong pks. Ive been to sun valley in idaho and its gorgeous there. I guess you would have to pick up wakeboarding or windsurfing if you lived in florida. Not as fun as skiing but whatever

Nevada is the most mountainous state. Sure driving across it may be bland but you see some cool formations across I-80 or whatever you take.

The majority of the state is shitty, yes, but there are definitely areas that don't suck. I may be biased because my summer house is in Ohio, but being able to drive a golf cart down the street to either play the 18 hole course, play tennis on clay or hardcourt, park next to the docks in the marina and take out the boats, head down to the clubhouse to get food/drinks at multiple restaurants and bars, swim in the pool, jump off the pier into the lake, fish, listen to live music, and make bonfires...well, that's decidedly not shitty no matter what state you're in. Sorry you looked like a chump and got mugged in Cleveland?

Anywhere that doesn't get snow/has skiable terrain or doesn't have a beach or lake nearby.

I really dont know how you people do it

I live in NY and think it's a great state. Huge variety of scenery, activity, and culture.

And I base my worst state decisions as a state without any redeeming qualities. So any state with mountains or coast is out for me, and thus I saw midwestern states such as Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Illinois (plus many others.)

Seriously, what the fuck do people do in those states?

I have lived in jersey my entire life and it is not a shitty place. just like everywhere else in this country you have shitholes but damn there are some nice places. oh and who the fuck thinks you cant pump your own gas or have to tip them? it is not a law at all haha its just a convenience to have someone do it for you.

lol ive lived in jersey my whole life and have pumped my gas plenty of times. if its actually a law you cant pump your own id be surprised
