What are the worst cell phones you've ever had? I thought it would be good to know which phones to avoid and also fun to hear stories about crappy phones. I didnt find anything in the search so...

Complete piece of shit

Im on my 3rd(This is without dropping it much and taking relatively good care of it)

Problems:

1. I dont hear the first 0-20 seconds of a phone call. so not only do I not hear the phone ringing when I call someone, I can't tell if they are picking up. So if they do pick up, they can hear me, and I cant hear them, so the first 10 seconds or so of every call goes like this: "Hi I know you can hear me, but my phones a POS and I cant hear you, so stay on the line for about 20 seconds until I can hear you..." this is the problem that has led me to return the phone to att 2 times

2. turns off randomly

3. speakers sometimes dont work(like for calls and alarms0

screen shattered in my pocket randomly one day within a month of buying it.

one day, nothing would work. when I would try to send a text a black background with red letters in caps said, "FATAL ERROR"
 
buy one of the shitty go phones at wal mart and put your sim card in it. they work great and never break
 
dont need to. att has good warentee service, and all i have to do is take my phones back and get a new one. so far this one hasnt been terrible, but i get a completely different phone next time i take it in.
 
everyone always says what trouble they had with the Razor. but i had mine for almost 2 years when i upgraded only because they were gonna give me a new better phone.

my only complaint is that the battery was shot. but that happens to every cell phone. also the phone in general was pretty slow, but it functioned just fine while i had it. and i didnt take care of it either haha
 
Razor,Dropped it once, wouldnt ring ever again. Dropped it again, screen cracked.
Oh and yea att sucks, i get no fucking service in my dorm in a major us city (Albany NY)
 
my envy sometimes froze on me, shut off randomly, and i will go to look at my pictures and it can recognize the files even though the phone took them

lg env2 i had 8 of them i shit u not, after about a month each one the front would just stop working, so i couldnt dial form the front or answer phone calls. I would have to open the phone up dial that way, answer calls that way. The hinge broke on 2 of them, leading to the phone to just fall apart on me.
 
my dare kinda sucks.

You have to look at a 10 second warning screen any time you want to send/read a text after if your inbox is 80% full or higher.

When the battery gets low, the screen will automatically turn on for about 15 seconds every minute or two. it turns BRIGHT white with a dying battery logo on it. So when you need it the most, the phone will unnecessarily waste power to warn you that you're losing power....
 
lg chocolattes, all generations, i am a dumbass and have had all three and there all POS, why i keep getting them is beyond me, even the chocolatte flip is a POS
 
I had a nokia 5100 and i can say without a doubt this was the best phone i ever had...
some facts about my nokia
i've had it for over 5y and it still works finei still have great battery life
i once dropped it in a toilet bowl
i once dropped it off a climbing wall onto concrete
i once left it outside in the rain for 4 days before i recalled where i left my phone
it once froze up completely, like ice crystals on the inside and ice around the housing, because i left it in the snowfilled pocket of my skiing jacket(just defrosted it and it worked again)
a car drove over it
i have reception where most other phones don't
i once threw my cellphone against a tree because i was drunk, the housing flew apart, just picked up the parts, reassembled them and it still worked fine, no damage whatsoever
i once went swimming and forgot the phone was in my swimming trunks...
etc etc.....

best phone i ever had! (even tough it is quite ugly....)
 
i disagree with some of you guys. my razor phone was indestructable. i dropped it, got it wet, left in snow overnight. i loved that thing.

now the Samsung Eternity. the full touch screen phone from samsung, that phone is a real piece of shit.
 
That's weird you guys say the chocolates, I had one and that thing was indestructible. I even threw it across a parking lot once and it still worked fine. My friend gave it to me then i gave it to someone else, between the three of us we used it for like 3 years.

I went through 3 motorolla zine's in like a month. that phone sucked.

Oh for just for the record, this is by far the BEST phone I ever had...

had the free nokia which absolutely suckedrazr wasnt too badand now im on like my 3rd eternityi cant get a different phone cuz they are free with insurance but they suck
 
motorola hint i dropped that damn thing out of a car threw it and everything it stays together works fine but the worst phone ever for breaking is prob the voyager
 
i have a htc touch diamond that that when i make calls i cant hear anything but they can hear me, it doesnt ring when i get texts and the touch screen sucks.

BUT i had a razor that was pretty much unbreakable the only reason i dont have it any mor cause i kind of accidentaly droped it off of a bridge

I'm sorry, but noone can shit o the Startec. Best phone ever for its time period, it was light, sleek, and sexy. Having that thing back in the 90s was like being James
 
i have had a nokia 5310 Xpress music phone for about a 1.5 years. its a sick looking phone and is really small/thin which rocks,but its gone completely to shit in the last 6 months.

the 7 and 8 buttons only work about 10% of the time which makes texting very frustrating (ive started improvising by using d as t and z as s but most people just get confused).

also i have so many text messages in my inbox/outbox folders (about 9000) that when i try to delete messages it just freezes, even on the computer in PC suite. So anyone that complains that your phone only holds 100 texts at a time be happy.

My friend has the same phone and for no reason the screen stopped working.

i remember my grandpa having one of these like right after they came out.

i was mesmerized by how sleek it was, and that he could talk anywhere.

up until this beast he had a car phone with an antenna on all his cars. lol he talked on the phone alot. haha

it really as that time periods version of the Iphone or BB
 
motarola rival. went through 6 before verizon upgraded me to the alias 2.first 3 screen went all white. next 2 had faulty wiring which ended up in the backlight breaking not allowing me to see anything. and last wouldnt let me use any key in the middle row so like the entire row of letters (asdfghjkl)
 
The two Nokia phones I had were incredibly durable. Took them mountain biking, got dirt in them, left them in the snow, dropped them a lot and they all worked great.
 
It's just called LG 9400 I believe. I've never seen anyone else with it, and haven't seen it in any Verizon stores so I'm not sure if they even make them anymore. Thing is bombproof. If you find one, definitely snag it.
 
I have this phone now, had problems at one point where the phone just died and would not turn on, but it was still under warranty, so I got a new one for free. The battery prongs got corroded at one point, but I just had to rub it off with alcohol and it works fine. Playing with the screen is by far the biggest perk of having this phone. Oh yea, and it's called the VX9400

And the LG VX5300 was a beast as well.
 
what? my brothers is basically indestructible. he throws it across the room when hes pissed and it works fine.
 
LG rumour. WORST phone ever. Yeah it's solid, not until it slides open in your pocket and one of the hinges break, now the phone stays open all the fuckin time in my pocket, calls anything, BUT it's pretty solid..
