Shit Supervisors

Prob not going to get shit but I'm dealing with a nasty supervisor and was wondering if anyone has feedback/ had the same situation. So... recently I emailed my work saying i needed to go down to 1 shift, end of two weeks comes and I am told I am totally out of line and abrasive to suggest it, since two guys just quit and we are short staff. I kinda need the cash from the job, but I can't take this burnt marshmellow bullshit. I would appreciate any feedback..
 
If you are going down to one shift a week, chances are you could survive without the job. So I agree with above, they either give you one shift or lose another person.
 
My manager publicly confronted me about handing in my 2 weeks as I told my asst. Manager who I trust a little more that due to my allergies (as I work at a pet store), Im probably gonna have to look elsewhere for work in the coming weeks. I did this to give as much notice as possible as I've been there for a while and kind of a superviser for newer employees. It was weird what my other manager did and she gave me a guilt trip on why I can just push through the allergies and stay but I'm tired of coming home with red itchy eyes and cold symptoms even when I take allergy meds. I guess the moral of the story is to be firm with what you want while still being polite, but in the end, its a job, and they WILL find people to replace you eventually so don't hesitate.
