where would one get a box for em?

yeah i went to ken jones and now a year they have shitloads of boxes cause of all the new skis.. saved so much money on shipping my skis

at my shop the only boxes they had were for like 5 pairs of skis, i only need to ship one!

i went to UPS Store, and they gave me 2 boxes, that are made for skis and together they were long enough for my enemys. just face the bindings towards eachother, instead of back to back like if you were carrying them and they should fit.

i think i was charged a total of 53 for all packaging and shipping charges. this was from CA to CO. the boxes and fill were about 10 total. not to cheap if you ask me

I can't get a ski box so im thinking of gift wrapping it. Do you think they would be cool with it? (the shipping folks)

skis are pretty damn strong and durable. An easy and cheap way to ship them, is to wrap them in cardboard. Just Slice up a box, and fold the cardboard around the skis so its at least 2 sheets of cardboard thick on each side, then tape it all together. (That is if you are just shipping skis with no bindings)
