Shipping skis from US to Canada

So my new skis are sitting at my inlaws in the US. My wife has decided she won't be able to bring them with her when she comes home tomorrow because she has a baby and way too much shit to worry about already (Which I would agree with) and that means I need to figure out the cheapest way to get them here.

Got any real options?

Go down and pick them up yourself while your at it you can go visit some stuff on the way to make it interesting. Maybe you could even ski while your down there depending on the location. Turn it into a vacation of sorts.

Nova Scotia to Minnesota. It's a 36 hour drive. That drive was fun the one and only time I will ever do it and I don't have anymore vacation until March. I plan on going there next summer but don't want to miss a whole season on new skis.

Have your inlaw ship it to you or have a neighbor do it and front them money
