Shinbang recovery

I’ve been learning 180s and 360s and I’ve been landing hella backseat. The shins really don’t appreciate it. How do you guys recover from shin bang? Ice and compression? Hot baths? Sensual shin massage? Any help is very appreciated

I made a thread about this a few days ago lol, I've found icy hot and ibuprofen before skiing for pain killing, and epsom salt baths after skiing have been a good combo

Sorry for stealing your idea bro. I’ll have to try those bath salts out, thanks

Prevention is the best treatment my guy - crank down on your power straps, make sure your pants aren't stuffed in your boots and tinker with your boots' forward lean if you're not already doing all that

Yeah I’ve found adjusting The boot and making sure it’s fitting properly goes a long way. Also OP remember no pain no gain. The more you abuse your shins the stronger they will get

This is very incorrect

I might try and mess with the forward lean but I’ve got all the other boxes checked. I’m a ski instructor for this season and the amount of people with jeans in their boots cracks me up

Ice cube massage, booster straps, time, learn front 270s and 5s to give your poor shins a rest.
