i just started getting shin bang this year and it seems like its from moving around in my boots too much and over shooting landings...so land on the landing and adjust your boots tight and loose and see if that helps

shin bang sucks....i've been dealing with that shit for almost two weeks now. and of course everybody has a different cure for it...none of which have seemed to work for me

yea i posted it a while ago..... i ran into about an 8 day period when i couldn't get to the hill so it gave them time to recover a little, after that i just dont do my top buckle as tight and the one second from the top pretty tight.... it seems to work for now

Couple things. First, make sure you have a good fitting boot. You'd be surprised what kind of problems under your foot will cause shin bang. Second, put in a heel lift. It doesn't seem like a 1/4' thick piece of rubber would do much, but it does. Third, your boot just may be too stiff for freestyle. Stiff boots+big landings=mega shin bang.

Just take a good rest, the more you push it the worst it gets, trust me, I've had it for 3 weeks but i'm taking a long break now

If your boot doesnt have a strap at the top, get one and make it as tight as you can. works for me.
