but seriously, who doesn't love scifi movies. just watched sharktopus and now i'm watching swamp shark. the life.
 
Have you actually seen that? I've seen a number of positive reviews from pretty reliable sources, and Del Toro is a damn fine director.

On thread topic, that looks so fucking badass. Might have to watch it.
 
I flipped over and watched some of this last night. LMFAO!!! It was mildly entertaining because of how bad the acting was. I think they could have randomly selected 20 people from NSG to act in that movie and it would have been pretty much the same.
 
Movie of the year.

It was so bad that it was good.

The best part was when the dude jumped into the sharks mouth with a chainsaw and cut his way out of it's stomach. Only a true cinematic genius could come up with that. Plus that bartender girl had excellent boobies.

Do yourself a favor and watch this movie
 
Damnit am I glad I recorded this, best movie of the summer. It's absolutely going to clean up at the oscars, no doubt in my mind.
 
aka all scifi original movies....

some are fun to watch high. but the majority are just awful. of course, scifi also plays non-original movies that are fucking great science fiction/thriller/horror movies. love it when they'll play shit like the predator movies
 
Yes, if you were really desperate for C- horror, they showed Sharktopus after that, and there was another one about a 2 headed shark that I saw a preview for too. They are definitely destined to be cult classics and should be sold as a box set.
