I like the Bright Sun Flims series of Abandoned and Bankrupt. The ones about shopping malls are all kind of the same but there’s some other good ones in there.

watching those were drugs to me. was fascinated by how much culture can be invested into one building.
 
Nakeyjakey makes some cool stuff on video games that isn't super condescending or long winded like 90% of other video essayists. I might even go as far to say he's funny as well

A 1999 film by Richard Sandler, a great photographer that grew up by me and documented nyc in the 70s, 80s & 90s both with video and photographs. Second vid is a recent short doc about him.
