Well I broke my ankle earlier this season and am still down so I have found other things to look forward too as my ski season diminishes. SHAMBHALA 2009! Already bought my ticket, who else is planning on going this summer. I know its far away but when your broken you look that way. Im so stoked this will be my first time.
 
AH i got my ticket a couple months ago. Every once and a while i go on the website and get super stoked and then realize how far away it is.
 
ha, i meant to post something about Shambs myself a few days ago but just forgot. i was on the site recently too getting stoked, last year was my first and i will try to go every year from now on, work allowing i guess,

good to hear there are some others stoked about it! Im watching the tickets sales go up a little every day ( I have no life due to broken ankle ). In the meantime listening to some dubstep is helping me clear my head. Check out :

fuck ye stoked to go just trying so hard to get my hands on a ticket. hopefully it all pulls through the stages sound fucking bangers. when is everyone arriving.
 
Goign to get there friday morning or so after my drive from calgs that night. the main event doesnt start until that friday night but you can go for thursday night and pay $20 extra at the gate.
Soup if you havnt been get on that shit boy! You will have the best time. Tickets are a little pricey at 230 but its worth it when you see all the detail they put into that area, plus all the huge artists they bring in, plus providing water and toilets in the middle of the mountains so far away from everything.

ye deifnately down for a little ns meet and greet (sp?). Im working on gettign a ticket still but ive got the time off from work.

anyone know how much casholla I should be bringing for drugs/food/drink? or can you bring your own shit in? I feel as if there is gonna be a cop block at the entrance or some shit.
 
the security staff search your car on the way in, it's a private ranch so the cops are invited in. i would try to hide your booze for sure or it will get dumped right in front of you. bring your own food you'll save money that way, and for drugs and alcohol for that matter, you could easily party sober and still have a blast, trust me just wait and see for yourself. if you're curious though everything is just regular street prices and i came across stuff i've only read on erowid.org about.

not very stoked i have to miss this, went to Motion Notion 2 weeks ago and it was a huge disappointment. have fun everyone!

oh my god that was serisouly the most fun \i have ever had. the girls were so god damn sexy and so down to dance their faces off, the drugs were flowing like the river, and the music was fucking unbelievable. I cant believe I have to wait another god damn year for that. it was seriously too good to be true fuck that was amazing.

what was everyones favourite set. mine had to be mat the alien in hte village. the entire set was so tight he never messed up once and always kept a constant flow. and those speakjers were blowing my eardrums it was insane.

Mat the Alien was fucking sick on thursday night, saw him at the rock pit. missed jack beats, im sure they would have been sick but i had to see beatnuts instead. beatnuts made the beat for mobbdeep "burn" and they played an epic show. one of the first rap shows at shamb im pretty sure and it went fuckign off.
it sounds corny but every year is almost life changing for me. just fucking epic, mind opening.
soooooooo many hot girls, and they aint shy.

there was shit and puke all over the walls after excision. Jack beats was the best set i have ever heard and blvd was the best live hip-hop i have ever heard. Best 5 days of my life.
 
friday night iin general was so incredible, danced for 8 hours non stop dressed like a dinosaur. How can you go wrong? Also, cant believe I have to wait till next year : ( Owell something to look forward to during summer atleast! Amazing, fuck i wanna be back.
