Shambhala 2010

count me in, i missed this year and it sucked. so if i have to quit my job to go in 2010 i think i will because i have accumulated a year and a half worth of excitement already. if i can make the time i might actually look into volunteering, and i'm considering trying to pull off a sober one

peace

the 19 year old age limit will probably make it better over all. as long as ur 19 you'll have more fun than years previous

Mitch, you can pretty much stop trying to get me to go. I will do my best to show up as a Japanese Panda.

I just dont think its fair that i have been going the last 2 years and now Im not aloud to go. Anyways they are just saving me money because now Im sneaking in.

CAMP BALLSACK REPRESENT!

No, it's not ridiculous. It's a liability issue. Plus people 17 and under don't know how to dance, all they do is grind and it's fucking annoying. 18 year olds I feel for though.

You guys should come join our camp. It's going to be amazing.

FUCK YA SHAMBHALA!!

I'm glad they put the age restriction to 19... It was kinda weird seeing people with their babies. Kids cant understand the shit that goes down there. I do realize it sucks if your 18, but like someone already said if you really want in you can get in.

It's still so far away though, damn.

Here's the line-ups from 4 out of 6 stages...

I'm hoping for Fake Blood, and Krafty Kuts would be cool as well. He's great live.

I have a chance to see Vibesquad next month, but I think I'll wait until I can listen to it in the Village.

Alsoooo, the Pagoda is going to be open Sunday night this year too, wooo.PAgoda lineup for Sunday TBA still.
See ya there : D

looks like a bunch of stoner electronic music. can you kick all the white kids with dreads in the back of the head for me?

Wow I've never seen a lineup with so many djs I've never heard of. Diesel boy is legit but he's actually the only dj i've heard of in that whole line up.

hatiras, nadastrom, excision, datsik, nero, lazy rich...sounds like a bangin' old time.

I haven't heard of anyone else on the lineup but it should be pretty sick. Wish I could go, music festivals are the shit

It's actually 19+ this year.

Plus there are tons of raves around that aren't 19+ anyways dude, and I'm yet to see you at one, so don't complain about not being able to go to shamby.

Don't be so ignorant.

If I were to kick someone in the head, I'm quite positive it would most likely be you.

Get educated geteducated.

I'd love to go and have the vaca time to do it. I'll give an update as it draws closer. If I'm going probably doing a solo mission from Ottawa. My threads for later.

Plenty of better fests with no age requirements. But to each there own. Railroad earth is gettin down on the stream with some nasty bluegrass right now

The age restriction is in place for several good reasons, and the main one being liability.

Better festivals? No, probably not. Different festivals? Yes.

Once you go to Shambhala, you'll find out why it is not only an amazing festival, but is an amazing experience.

Bassnectar, Excision, Nero, Noisia, ill.Gates, Datsik, A-Skillz, Stickybuds, etc?

Fuck being sixteen! This is a only a few hours away from me too...fuck this.

I hate when my favourite artists play at 19+ events, all though I'll probably be happy when I actually turn 19 haha.

Some people really need to expand their musical horizon.
For those that are saying that because you haven't heard of many of these artists, this festival will be no good ... you should try applying this logic to other things. Such as ... I am sure most of you little fucks have never had sex before, so that being said, I'm sure you think that it is JUST NO GOOD cause you have never experienced it. Good logic huh. Bet that gets you laid all theeee tiiiimeeeee.

I'm gonna be 18, fucking bullshit. missed it last year and now this.

anyone think I can get in with a decent fake? or another way? if i do attempt it im going with people who are legit over 19. not over 25 though for the guardian thing.

anyway pm me if you know a way, i do not want to miss excision and datsik on a 110,000 watt sound system.

Get a ride to the edge of the ranch, hop out before the clearing where the gate is, walk around to the camping area through the forest and your in.

i feel your pain
and another part of the guardian thing taht sucks is the if they find you or him and you're not together they'll toss you both out
that tree running thing can't work, but it would make sense for them to not fence off the whole thing...
hmmmm..........

abortioner: just wondering if you have gone before? doesn't sound like it. if you have gone and still want to discourage others from going id be very surprised. its not just about the artists playing there, its about the city of crazy people shambhala creates. every hippy who likes to party in BC attends shamb.

to the people who are underage: You can get in through the trees but there is a good chance once you are inside you will get caught without a wrist band. do you really want to get kicked out of the greatest place on earth? Just wait till your 19, you will enjoy it more then anyways. my 2c
