Sfb on rails?

I bought the sfb at the end of last season and didn't ski rails at all, because my local park ones are absolute ass. My friends dollos have rust on them and are pretty beat from skiing rails. I just skied the sfb on groomers, pow (where i loved it, mb cuz i havent had a 95+ ski, but i loved how playful it is in pow) and just built jumps with friends. Now im wondering do i keep the sfb as my park ski and just dont give a fuck or should i be more careful and not use it much on rails?

Do you already have a designated park ski?

You should be fine and able to ski them in the park or wherever you feel comfortable riding them. Enjoy them and have fun!

Nah they are my only pair because I am still growing, I will for sure buy skis at the end of the season tho I'll figure out if they are gonna be more park or more freeride oriented during this season ig

The SFB will be fine on rails but any ski will get destroyed if you're regularly hitting rails with them. I'd recommend getting a used pair of beaters for rails to preserve your nice skis.

bum some cheap used park skis off a friend or sm so you dont have to buy new powder skis when the sfbs break on rails

Another option; if you've found a ski you really love, there's nothing wrong with picking up a second pair to keep nice, and having one pair to beat up on rails. Corbetts has SFB's for 500 CAD right now.

Definitely detune at least the underfoot, but that's a pow ski made by Line. Just holding a pair in my hand, they feel light and fragile, but definitely capable of park. I'd tread lightly on them lol

Seems you love the sfb overall. Preserve it and buy some park skis you can beat up

yeah i think ill do that and use my bacons as a big mountain ski aswell, i can do that right? Cuz i love them in pow but they are becoming shorter than me, i am 177 cm and they are 176, but i am also 140 pounds so ig they are ok being a little bit shorter.

You can ski anything anywhere if you really try. I'm sure you'll be fine on your bacons unless you're skiing like candide.
