Seven Springs vs. Holiday Valley

I have the choice of going to either of the resorts later this month

Because I can't bring my own gear, rentals are very important.

From what I remember, Springs didn't have any park skis, I don't know if this has changed.

If NS could help me out, I'd be very thankful

+ k of course

the springs rental shop gives you shit skis with shit bindings and shit boots like most rental shops but theres a ski shop upstairs in the lodge that does demos. i assume they have park skis. but to be honest i would go to holiday valley if you wanna ski anything at all besides park

idk how 7 springs park is but holiday valley's park sucks. I mean its nice and errthing but foxfire is hella short.

I wish I could

My local shop is nonexistent, Cleveland doesn't have much for a winter sports scene.

you might have seen me last time I was there, I was the idiot in the park with baggies and the most extreme racing skis ever

dubpost holiday valley is a nice hill though. High speed lifts....and really nice trails.

if your in cleveland the browns suck. and i would go to snowshoe wv it’s a far better mountain than springs and idrk about holiday but its about the same distance as holiday valley

if you want to ski any park go to 7 springs because anything else mid-atlantic is going to suck compared to the springs.

Seven Springs without a doubt. I don't know about rental park skis though, you probably won't find them anywhere in Western PA

x2 on the browns sucking. but snowshoe sucks if you want to ski park, and its definitely farther from cleveland than holiday valley.

Not only do the Browns suck HUGE nut, so do the Cav's, the Monsters (feeder team for the Avalanche, and they suck nut too), the Indians, and the economy.

Believe me, I am in Ohio for one reason, and it's a shitty one

Does anyone know how the rentals are at Holiday?

Holiday Valleys parks are worse than you could ever imagine. they seem to have quite the "idiot factory" over there running their parks... dont ever bother wasting your time there for any reason.

Seven springs. I skied there today. The whole mountain is open, the park is better than anything in the Mid-atlantic and probably the whole east coast. The ski shop at the base lodge, willi's will have stuff you can demo including park skis, but the rental shop is all garbage.

I gotta say that while Cleveland doesnt have necessarily the best resorts. Boston MIlls and Brandywine are some pretty legit ski hills only about 30 minutes away from cleveland. I am a ski instructor there, and I try to hit the park as much as possible. If you have never checked it out, they have some very nice parks for this early in the season. http://www.bmbwgallery.com/parks/Home.html
