Ouch ha. I only saw snowboarders throwing flips off there. One kid ate it on a backflip attempt. Me and my friends were doing some 180's and even tried a 360 off alittle 5 or 6 foot drop further up on that slope.
I never said he dident, i was just saying one of the best riders on this side of the country is a pretty bold statement. The kids at Loon and Killington are on a whole other level than most people that ride at springs. At least Snowboarding wise.
Hes just mocking you, and dan really does throw down, i can vouch on that haha..the most impressive part is hes only been snowboarding in park for a short time if im correct, maybe a couple years at most.
YEAH!!! YOU'RE BRO IS THE BEST RIDER ON THE EAST!!! You should feel so proud that you are his bro! He's way better than "all these loon kids" I mean look how shitty their joke edit is compared to your bro's "sponsor me tape!"
Its gonna get cold monday night and all just about every night this week is going to be in the 20's so they'll be able to make a decent amount of snow to account for the loss. This heat and rain needs to go away so they can just turn on the guns full time, Itd be nice to have a decent sized jump before february this year
goto hidden valley tomorrow their park was so sick compared to springs, 8 features and so many less people. Valley will be getting a decent amount of my money this year vibes are much better there.
I'm planning on going up to springs on Sunday. I'll most likely have the 2010 Ace of Spades with ffg bindings.(I probably won't be in the park if there is one hah)
The fact that they supposedly have the #1 parks on the east coast, and I'm visiting some family near there as well aha. 55 dollars to hike a few features is a bit steep, still fun though.
I guess it isn't bad if you're visiting family. Their parks do get really good in late January through February. It is just the fact that the past 2 days are really the only snow we've gotten all season.
Weather has been shitty from what I hear.. Plus they put the park on fawn due to snowmaking in the Beard. If there's one thing I know about springs its, that they always dedicate all of the "dope builds" for the snowboarding events.. Like the annual Rome Pre jib next weekend.
I was told the Beard will be open for Wednesday.. Know if that's true? If it is, maybe I'll make it out for one more day. I don't really care if it's not the PreJib setup but sessioning some different stuff on a rope tow would be really cool.
The main focus will be on the setup for the Pre jib in the beard, they most likely wont change the fawn lane setup or have time to.. Don't bother going up until after the comp, you probably wont be able to ski the setup until after it's a wrap.
Shit man if I could get a ride I definitely would, I hate not having a car I'm still waiting on this old ladies insurance company to send me a check from when the old hag ran a stop sign n hit me on thanksgiving.
Anywho is anyone in the pittsburgh area down to hit urban tonight and possibly have a bungee I'm about to make a thread on this cause I wanna get down tonight if we get enough snow.
hopefully tomorrow will be good for some park laps. green neversummer snowboard, and some very red pants with a black jacket.
think i saw aaron's bro last season at liberty, i can vouch for some throwing down(if it was him). he enjoyed my levitation project hoody, so he gets props from me
the park was dope last night. i tried hucking a few underflips off a small lip and did a few backflips off the lip of the rainbow rail. there's a down tube and a c box that are a lot of fun.
look for the kid with this years chronics, a blue helmet, and no poles
