Seth vicious vs ar5

Hey.

I usually ski allmountain- i love the park, but we have loads of good pow here, so i'm doing this too.

I bought the volkl dogen in sept. bc i got them very cheap, but the tail just broke off. Another thing:

When i tocuhed a cliff just a little bit, my dogen hadd really huge scratches (you could see the woodcore) in it.

So...i'm searching for a ski with a HARD BASE, bc i don't want to get that much scratches anymore. Should be good for backcountry kickers, but also rails.

At my local shop, they have the 05/06 seth vicious for €399 (instead of 649), so i thought of buying these...are they any good? Or are they too heavy?

what about an armada ar5? Do they have a good skibase? (i loved the soft flex of the dogen, but,as i said, i hate the cracks).

thats a decent price on the SVs theyre a sick ski that rip everywhere. theyre stiffer than the dogens but im sure you'll love them

i wanna say the graphic, but i'm not positive. i know what the pistol was seth's 04/05 ski and the vicious is his 05/06 ski.

Im going out on a limb here but im going to say that your skies may have broken because of thoose coreshots on your bases and you corew rotting out...that it unless you repaired them/got the repaired then just ignore all of what i just said

Yea man go for the pistols. I dont think the ar5 would be to good for all mountain as the vicious cause the vicious is sick.

check out chronic wides, they would be a good all around ski, and line has double thick bases and edges so don't worry about that.

I've hit a few big rocks in this season by cliffs, not so much snow etc. and my MSPs have only "wax will fix it" scratches... very durable... but SVs are prolly nice if u want em
