So I've been living with the whole operation aborted popup and the "by closing this window you man run into problems" all that shit, now it's just gone too far. I was just on NS and I got the operation aborted thing so I closed NS and hey what do you know, 26 other NS windows open and eventually my computer's CPU maxxed out.

I got the screen shot, it's got to be fixed, Mozilla isn't an option IE has everything I need/want (except NS apparently)
 
why isn't mozilla an option? most websites are built to work best in firefox. or get chrome or something, IE is pretty much the epic fail of web browsers.
 
I have anything and everything I ever needed on IE and have never had one small problem, I'm not willing to switch to Mozilla just to go on NS..

(Took me 2 log-ins to write that)
 
You can transfer all you bookmarks, re-download most of your plugins and even get better, more useful ones, you can customize the look of it, and you don't get random NS crashes (anymore).

Just try it man.
 
plus its faster, less ram intensive and more reliable.

And it allows you to open mythreads with very little drama
 
Guys I totally understand wanting to be able to choose whatever browser you want. If you wish to use IE then that is totally your decision!

We are working diligiently to fix the problem... its a really weird one..

 
Maybe i'll give Firefox a shot, how do I permanently delete IE though, because I remember downloading Chrome and deleting IE and when I would open an attachment it would open in IE and then IE would set itself as the default browser (one thing I hate about IE)
 
you may want to keep IE, there is the odd page (unfortunately) that only works in IE. i used to have IE deleted, but there were a couple of pages i needed to go on (schoolwork) that only worked in IE. just get Firefox and set it as your default, keep IE just in case you need to visit a page that was made by an idiot.
 
get firefox. you wont regret it! hate to say the same thing as everyone else, but apparently you need to be convinced the hard way.
 
IE is pretty much the worst dude, try Firefox or Chrome, both are way faster and safer to use. Chrome is sexy as hell, but if you're looking for something that is pretty much the exact same as IE only way better Firefox is for sure the way to go. It will solve all your problems, and you can import all your old settings so it's real easy.

There's this browser test online that shows you how good your browser is at rendering pages and not sucking, it's this animation and if your browser is PERFECT it shows up as a series of colored boxes. It shows up normally but in black and white in Firefox. In IE, it looks like a rhinocerous fucked Barney and they had a demon spawn. Not even kidding.
 
I use firefox but I haven't had the problem for a while. The site works especially better since I upgraded to the new firefox 3 a few days ago too.
