so my dad sent me a check for summer tuition and rent for like $2150.00 last fri. i thought i cashed it when i went to the bank since it wasn't in my wallet. so i check my acct online today and it isnt there.

wellsfargo posts pics of all the checks cashed in your acct and my dad sent me a pic of the check and somebody forged my fucking signiture and cashed the fucking check. god dammit. now my rent and tuition checks are gonna bounce. i hate everyone. and my dad is gonna have to close his acct and get a new acct # and everything.

so has this happened to anyone else? what should i be expecting from the bank?

Its hard to get a job that pays well enough to suport education, espically when you have to devote 40-50 hours of you week to school work and research. That sucks balls dude, Is there anything that can be done to get who ever cashed it on theft or somehting?

just to clear things up, it was money from a mutual fund that i started when i was 14 for college. since i was 14 when i started it, my dad was the primary person on the acct or whatever so whatever money i want out of it goes into his acct and then he has to write me a check. so it is money that i earned by washing dishes and bussing tables when i was young. the only reason i am even using it is because my school is stupid and won't let me get any financial aid fo rthe summer.

people who say get a job and pay your own way through college are retarded. i've been working since i was legally able to and i've still had to get lots of school loans. higher education is expensive.

and irishdrink...those loans dont just dissapear, someone is going to have to pay that money back. whether it be you or your parents.

my dad has talked to the bank and we're most likely going to get our money back, especially since the bank let them cash such a large ammt. for transactions of that level, there are loads of security measures that are supposed to be taken. no matter what, it's a rediculous hassle that i have to go through

how do you get free $? all my loads are unsubsidized and have to be paid back. isn't that kinda stuff determined by how much $ your parents make? what financial bracket do you have to be in to get free $?

FAFSA is all determined by the amount of money your parents make and money in stocks, bonds, savings ext. So basicly if your poor you get a free ride, or if you dad or mom makes mad $$(like my dad) then you dont get shit.

I'll drive it untill the wheels fall off, then I'll buy new wheels!
