ive been going through switzerland germany the netherlands for a while now, and i have to say, america is absolutely insane. in europe they have a beautiful philosophy. "you own your own body" in america, apparently the us gov "owns your body" by telling you what you can take and what you cant take.

when you spend enough time in these countries and hang out with people who grew up with this philosophy, it really hits you, how little freedom you have in america.

i dont know how else to put it. the us has more in common with africa than it does with europe.

we are still hanging witches in america, but its now called the war on drugs

So what you're saying is that it would be easier for kids to access drugs if they were sold at specific locations? They wouldnt be available as readily through the black market making it a lot more difficult for kids (underage) to obtain certain substances. Obviously they could still bypass the system if they had someone of age buy it for them but why is it safer to only be able to buy drugs illegally? you never know the purity or any information about what you're buying. You know?

the problem with the whole "you own your own body" thing is that there might be a crazy drug epidemic. look at china. they were absolutely buttfucked by opium. some 60% of people in shanghai were addicted to opium at one point. if a new drug comes out that everyone think is all good, then we might have another epidemic
