Serious injuries...

You guys ever think about having a really serious injury.... i am talking mostly to street jibbers..

Street jibbers are really going crazy.... ive seen people in my town this summer a few times doing some sick rails i know they arent 100% sure to land "safely"... when does someone realises he went to far? when is its too late? I can take for exemple one of my buddies who crushed 2 vertebres... he will never jib again or jump in any form and will always have back problems following him all his life...

Where do you stop taking stupid risks? im wondering.... i mean, we all did stupid stuff, but for myself, i knew where to draw the line, and listen to me and only me... i never did a trick with a huge doubt in my mind simply because of peer pressure...

My personnal end was after a shoulder surgery... i just knew i had to stop pushing myself that far...

I still learn new tricks... i started pulling my switches this winter.... but i did it in a gradual way of learning and on jumps i had total trust...

Anyways... where do you guys know its too much or you need to think about it...

I see in advance some of your responses:

I stomp everything: One dasy you wont and it will hurt

You are scared to push: Maybe yes, but i want to ski and jump till im 40, arthritis (SP?) and problems catch up faster than you think when you 15-20...

STFU: dont post if you cant say anything intelligent ok?

skiing is about taking risks. if there wasnt the adrenaline rush, skiing wouldnt be so fun, and a lot of what causes that adrenaline rush is the risk factor

a good friend is the guy who bails you out of jail...
a best friend is the guy on your right saying, 'damn that was fun'

when i tore my acl,i new i pushed it to fast, biggest table i had ever done was 50 at the most, never hit anything other than that, had a bad knee, knew it wasnt right, but i still tucked it into a 60 and overshot bad, i will think next time more about that b4 i do it again

what's up now bitch

"i see you have gotten the most recent pic of atlantaski and i must say he is looking pretty dark for a wigger"- Lats reply to a picture of a piece of shit in a toilet

ACLs suck

you can never be sure your going to land, you just put 100% effort into what your doing, you can't hold back or else your gonna eat shit which might happen even if you do put it all on but still alot less likely.

theres a big difference between being stupid about something and taking risks. Everything can be risky to some extent but if u have the knowledge to pull it off, go for it. If u just dont care if u get hurt and bomb into a 75fter and try a triple-back, well then, ur just asking to land on ur head and be retarded the rest of ur life. But i suppose once ur retarded ur not gonna have too many regrets after that anyway, so i guess what im saying is... dont be a pussy.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...
