Serious Full Tilt thread. Not an ignorant thread asking if they'll fit my foot.

So I understand the rumors to be true, but what I know is vague. They are making a wider Full Tilt model, it's known as the Classic and will have a 102mm last (The SPK is 106mm for reference). It is essentially the Bumblebee.
I'm not rushing out to order a pair of these. I just want to know more.
So what's the lowdown people with access to product catalogues or reps.I assume it'll come with the power wrap liner?Full metal buckles?Tongue flex rating? What's the retail likely to be, I assume around $575?The Full Tilt site is down right now so I'm just asking here out of curiosity.
Kids with average/wide feet don't set your hear on these. Firstly intuition liners are not to everyones liking. 102mm is an average last but I imagine these will still be super low profile/volume with a tiny heel cup. Correct me if you know otherwise.
Try before you buy! Thanks for anyones help.Peace

yes it has the powerwrap liner. no it does not have metal buckles or the moto cuff thing. the tongue flex is 6. i don't know what the retail cost is but i don't think that you're too far off base with your guess.
also, the high five, hot dogger, and booter will all have the wider last. you don't have to get the classic if you want the wider fit.

That's good news, I'm happy things are going well enough for FT/K2 for them to afford another mold.Sick that they're going to be doing an almost full run of wider lasts. Thanks for the input man, really helpful. I maxed out your karma for your valiant efforts.

yeah they are. the boots are amazing but the only downfall was that they didn't work for a whole lot of skiers. now there should be a boot for pretty much anyone. full tilt will be on the next presidential ballot i'm sure.

Nice, pretty exciting news. hope this goes well for them, if this catches on it'd be huge, cuz such a practical design for a boot but now for available for more people.

isn't dalbello making a wider version of the krypton this coming year too?

the 6 flex is PERFECT. imho.

i was one a super soft cheapo boot, with a 50 flex, and moved up to a full tilt camo with a 100 flex(6 on the FT scale)

so much more stability in and out of the park, especially outside. it's a few hundred times easier to butter too. so much easier to drive my skis.

it's also not too stiff for park. and the liner and foot bed take eliminate any impact on your heals and shins.

i don't see why these shouldn't be first on anyones list, and if the classic does well, we can expect more models, and maybe even a wider last, in the future.

mmmmhmmm fulltilts.

Man, if the nearest place that sold Full Tilts wasn't 8 and a half fucking hours away, i would get some. Fuck the lack of ski shops in the UP.

So does this mean that the 09-10 models will all fit wider? I know that the boots from this year fit me perfectly, so will they still fit the same this coming year?

I might just be better off anyways (price wise) by getting last years boot.

The above mentioned models will have two runs, the 96mm (same as this year) last and a 102mm last. So they will fit the same unless you get the wide model.
Props for posting the FT pdf, karma maxed out.
Peace

on the dealer catalog it says that there is going to be an additional 2mm of space in the toe box for the booter, hot dogger, and the konflict
