Separate gear trade into sections?

I was just wondering if anyone else thought that it could be more useful if the sell/trade thread was sectioned like regionals according to either type of article being sold or sizes. If I'm looking for boots for example, it's a lot of scrolling and eyeballing. But if there was a section just for boots, it might make items more visible and thus perhaps a more successful sale for the seller. Or if I'm a small person and it's easier just to look for boots in a "small section" which would be for skis 170cm and smaller, boots 25cm and smaller, etc.

Any one else?
 
Yea this should be in site discussion, and there have been countless threads on this topic before. It's not going to happen, regions only matter to a small percentage of people buying, selling and trading who for some reason only want to ship within their state or USA/CA etc... Also if you're looking for a specific item just searchbar. It's not that hard. The buy/sell forum is fine how it is, I like it because you can just browse a lot of different items and shit instead of having to have a very specific thing in mind. Again, SEARCHBAR...
 
it would be more convenient for the buyer, but it could also result in less traffic for sellers of certain items. not to mention it would mean sellers would have to separate their sales, or people would have to spend more time looking for items depending what thread the seller decides to put their sale into if they have more than one item/type of item
 
yeah it is a good idea but mmallender is right, most threads are mixed items. but there could be a way to do it,

maybe by date or something? just thinkin..
 
if we could get everyone to adapt to that system it would work, but there would still be countless kids posting full sales in specific parts of the bst, and honestly if you want something bad enough youre going to make the effort to look for it, and if youre concerned with selling your stuff you will do a good job in trying to sell it (or at least that is how it should work, but some kids on here are pretty fucking lazy and unmotivated)
