Sent my first flat spin today! Any tips or advice?

If you saw this on gear talk it’s because I posted it on the wrong forums

Set looks really good. Just a bit under rotated. Trying setting it straight back just a bit more to stay at 3. Looks like it wants to come around to 5 pretty naturally with a little more air and/or faster rotation.

My brothers thrown flat 3s off the 10 foot step downs at southington, there is no such thing as too small

Yes and no. You can def get big tricks around on small stuff. I used to flip and rodeo some pretty absurdly small shit. Now I still to a certain loose minimum size. The more you have to chuck stuff around the harder it is to set it good and have control. Def there's a point in size where you can get the perfect set and pretty much know you have that. Sure you can land most of them on smaller stuff when you're chucking them all the time but a little bigger is nice.

That said, I first tried most flips on jumps that "were too small" . There's def a lot to be said for the confidence a smaller jump gives you to try something new that can sometimes counteract the lack of air time on said jump.

I don’t know why the video is sideways like that because it’s not like that in my camera roll

[tag=198199]@TRVP_ANGEL[/tag] are you able to look into this, the problem has been going on in the forums for awhile now. Might have something to do with mobile uploads?
