just sent in my first college app early action to denver univ...kinda pumped def nervous...who else is dreading this process right now

looking back i wasnt so much worried about getting accepted or not, i just dreaded putting any effort into it at all

no i am not bragging. i couldn't give a shit about high school. you said i wont get in.. now if you will and please...

don't settle for CU. you're smart and you should use that to get into a better school. not saying CU isn't a good school, it's good for some things, but ucla? usc? they blow CU outta the water.

yea. i wana ski though... and i know tons of ppl in boulder.. but defiantly would be hard to turn down those schools if i got in. we can haz convo's in march when im deciding where to go. :)!!!!

oh noez. dun facepalm mee.
i haz a plan. besides underads not that important now-a-days. probs need masters degree anyways so have fun in college then go to a smart grad school?

ugh... he won't be accepted into any top rate California school with that transcript. You have to have a 4.0 or higher and a 2000 or higher on the SAT just to have a chance of beating out an asian kid for a spot.

This is true and I would stick with that train of thought. Boulder can be a hard place to have fun and get good enough grades to get into a good grad school though, Boulder can do that to kids.

damn azns... but fo realz california wants my out of state tuition $$. plus meh private skoo dont weight gpa and the classes are hard as shit. again not bragging just commenting.

ns me=full-retard
real life=not retarded
its boring talking normal with good vocabulary and proper grammar/spelling all the time.

USC doesn't care about your out of state tuition. UCLA is asian overload and an unnecesary expense for undergrad.
USCD is pretty fantastic, but.... if you like cool people and your education is important. I'd say check into Cal Poly Slo. It ranks higher than a lot of the UC's. Out of state ends up being like 12k the first year then around 4k each year after. Your education will be better and you will be around way more skiers.
USC has an awesome ski community as well, but again, not likely you will get in. If you want to go there, get a 4.0 your first year at a decent school and then transfer in. They love transfers.

just questioning a local, but why facepalm? is it hard to get the 2 hour drive to most of the resorts during the week, is it hard to fit in time with CU's schedule, or is it just because skiing and college dont mix?

Go buffs, but seriously its an awesome place to be/go to school got the mountains, and the plains, therefore best of both worlds!!!

my college application consisted of "hey, would you consider yourself a pretty good guy?"

"fuck yeah!"

"welcome aboard!"

Since I work at Snarf's on Arapahoe and i also approve this message as long as you don't order a fuckin milkshake. hahaha snarf's employees represent.

Represent!! Heard from the higher powers that we are nixing the milkshakes at all the stores, only accounts for .2% of sales and way to big of a hassle.

talk about a harold and kumar like story that involves you getting 14 hits of X for you and your friends to go to a rave, and how one of your friends comes out of the closet after taking x.
